Australia strips medals from commanders over Afghan war crimes | September 11

Australia’s Defence Minister has stripped distinguished service medals from “less than 10” commanders, over alleged war crimes committed in Afghanistan under their watch. The previous government overturned a defence force decision to strip medals from more than 3,000 personnel.
