Yousta opens value fashion store in Prayagraj with Rajkumar Rao

Reliance Retail’s value fashion brand Yousta has opened its first brick-and-mortar outlet in Prayagraj to bolster its retail network in Uttar Pradesh. The store launched with Bollywood actor Rajkumar Rao.

“Who’s excited to see Rajkummar Rao at the grand opening of the Yousta store in Prayagraj on the 17th of May,” announced Yousta on Facebook a day ahead of the store launch event. Teaming up with the Bollywood celebrity was designed to help Yousta connect with Gen Z shoppers in the region and create a media buzz around the launch.
 
Rao explored Yousta’s latest designs at the store launch event and met with locals who had gathered for the occasion. The store is located at Civil Lines on Prayagraj’s SP Marg and is the brand’s first store to date in the state of Uttar Pradesh, Indian Retailer Bureau reported.
 
Inside the Prayagraj store, shoppers can use a variety of tech enabled features including self checkout counters to streamline their shopping experience. Products available in the outlet include men’s and women’s western wear and accessories with new products launching each week.
 
Reliance Retail established Yousta in August last year to offer affordable, branded fashion to youths across India. The brand has since opened brick-and-mortar outlets in the states of Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, West Bengal, and now Uttar Pradesh. The brand also retails online on both Ajio and Jio Mart.
