Luxury accessories brand Tod’s opened a new flagship store in Mumbai’s Jio World Plaza with a star-studded launch party. Measuring 2,100 square feet, the new boutique houses the brand’s men’s and women’s lines in a minimalist, global facing setting.
“Special guests and friends of the house attending the opening of the Tod’s Boutique in Mumbai at Jio World Plaza,” announced Tod’s on Facebook. The brand shared images of the event’s celebrity guests including Aditi Rao Hydari who attended the soiree and learnt how the brand crafts its signature accessories.
The store has a mustard yellow and natural wood interior with modern, sculptural details. Shoppers can browse a selection of Tod’s signature loafers for both men and women as well as handbags, tote bags, accessories, and a small selection of clothing items.
Tod’s made its debut in the Indian market in 2008 and also has exclusive brand outlets in cities including New Delhi and Kolkata. The brand retails on a number of multi-brand e-commerce platforms including Ajio Luxe, Fashiola, and Myntra among others.
Reliance Industries Limited’s Jio World Plaza opened its doors to the public in October last year with a large scale celebration. The mall houses a wide selection of Indian and international brands including Gucci, Dior, and Valentino among others, according to its website.
