Michael Kors launches first store in Ahmedabad

US-based premium apparel and accessories brand Michael Kors has opened its first brick-and-mortar store in Ahmedabad. Located in the city’s Palladium Mall, the outlet is also the label’s first in the state of Gujarat. 

“Excitement is in the air as Michael Kors is about to make a grand debut at Palladium Ahmedabad,” the shopping centre announced on Facebook just before the launch. “Get ready to redefine fashion with sophistication.” The brand is known for its classic, smart casual style and is designed to appeal to numerous age groups. 
 
The store joins brands including Diesel, Tumi, Boss, Pantaloons, Only, Jack & Jones, Max Fashion, Forever 21, H&M, and Vero Moda in the mall, according to its website. Palladium Ahmedabad is a project by Phoenix Mills Limited and is located in the city’s Thaltej neighbourhood.

Designer and entrepreneur Michael Kors launched his eponymous brand in 1981 in New York, US. Today, the brand runs the labels Michael Michael Kors, Michael Kors Collection, and Michael Kors Men’s and its products span clothing, handbags, footwear, watches, jewellery, and fragrances.
