Punit Balana opens its first flagship store in Delhi

Fashion designer Punit Balana has entered the national capital city of New Delhi with the launch of its flagship store in Dhan Mill, Delhi.

The store will showcase the designer’s latest collection ‘Chaap’ inspired by the rich heritage of Rajasthan and the unique wax printing technique called ‘Maum ka Chhaapa’.

The collection includes the kalidar anarkali with an embroidered yoke, short kurtas paired with gheraras, three-piece sets with cowl skirts, handkerchief crop tops, and gauzy organza saris.

Commenting on the launch, Punit Balana in a statement said, “It was a dream come true to put my work on the map and showcase it. This collection features a harmonious blend of modernity and tradition, offering timeless pieces for everyone.”

“I am thrilled to come to Delhi that too with Chaap collection. The collection is a reflection of me, a signature with new-age shapes which is appealing to a wide range of fashion enthusiasts,” he added.

Punit Balana launched his eponymous label in 2015 and is inspired by the embroidery and textile traditions of Rajasthan. The designer has stores in Mumbai and sells online through its website.
