Malabar Gold & Diamonds plans 20 new stores this October

Fine jewellery brand Malabar Gold & Diamonds plans to open 20 new exclusive brand outlets this October to connect with more shoppers offline during the festive season and beyond. The brand will launch 15 new stores in India as well as three in the Middle East and two in the US.

“Currently, Malabar Gold & Diamonds operates 355 showrooms across 13 countries,” announced the business in a statement, ET Bureau reported. “In India, the expansion will see new showrooms opening in Uttar Pradesh (three), Delhi (two), Maharashtra (two), Karnataka (two), Rajasthan (two), Odisha (one), Telangana (one), West Bengal (one), and Punjab (one).”
 
The business also plans to continue to expand its international brick-and-mortar footprint and will launch Middle East stores in Nakeel Mall in Saudi Arabia, Muwaileh in Sharjah, and in Muitar in Qatar. In the US, Malabar Gold & Diamonds will launch brick-and-mortar stores in Artesia in Los Angeles and in Atlanta, Georgia this autumn.
 
“Our expansion plan focuses on sustainable and responsible growth,” said Malabar Group’s chairman MP Ahammed, ET Retail reported. The brand’s international retail presence also includes several Southeast Asian markets as well as the UK, Canada, and Australia and Malabar also runs 15 jewellery manufacturing units in five countries.
