French skincare brand Laura Mercier has partnered with Baccarose, a beauty and cosmetics distribution firm for its entry into the beauty market in India.

With this partnership, Laura Mercier will open its first store in the country at the Phoenix Palladium in Mumbai.

Laura Mercier’s product range in India will include primer, foundation, conceal camouflage palette and translucent loose setting powder.

Commenting on the launch, Marco Ficarelli, chief revenue officer of Laura Mercier Cosmetics in a statement said, “We are thrilled to introduce the illustrious French American makeup and skincare brand, Laura Mercier, to the dynamic beauty market of India. With a growing demand for premium cosmetics and passionate beauty consumers who are influenced by global beauty trends and self-care, we are excited to bring Laura Mercier’s innovative and high-quality products that will empower Indian consumers and enhance their self-expression.”

Founded in 1996 by French makeup artist Laura Mercier, the namesake beauty brand is sold in some 40 countries globally.
