The mother-daughter designer duo Charu Kotia and Vasundhara Kotia will make their debut at Lakme Fashion Week x FDCI by showcasing ‘Azura’ collection on March 17 in Mumbai.
Actor Diana Penty will walk the ramp for the Kolkata-based fashion brand as the showstopper.
Charu & Vasundhara’s Azura collection includes lehengas, saree gowns, kurta shararas sets and chic indo-western fits.
The collection has been crafted in organza, net, and tussar silk along with hand embroidered floral motifs embellished with cutdana, crystals, pearls, and stones.
Commenting on the collection, Charu Kotia, co-founder of Charu and Vasundhara in a statement said, “I am thrilled to have our brand, Charu and Vasundhara make its debut at Lakme Fashion Week x FDCI this season. My daughter, Vasundhara and I will be presenting Azura: Where Dreams Bloom, a collection that embodies our dreams as designers. This showcase is a milestone for our brand, and we look forward to showcasing our creativity on the prestigious platform.”
The Lakme Fashion Week organised in partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India commenced on March 13 and conclude on March 17th at Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
