“This behaviour has been ongoing from April 2020 through 2022,” said Bose in a statement on the accusations, ET Online reported. “I have been threatened, deceived, and had errors attributed to me for Vaidya to fraudulently acquire my shares, valued at multiple crores.”

Bose’s legal representation Singhania & Co confirmed to the Economic Times that she is making a legal complaint. Zilingo had previously worked with Deloitte and Kroll to conduct a forensic audit of the business to investigate complaints that had previously been made about Bose.

After co-founding Zilingo with Kapoor in 2015, Bose’s position as CEO was challenged due to alleged financial irregularities and this ultimately led to her suspension from the business by its board of directors. Bose has alleged that both Kapoor and Vaidya used offensive language against her and sent untraceable sexually explicit messages to her.

Bose also alleges that Kapoor and Vaidya threatened her with online targeting and has accused Kapoor of sexual harassment. Bose has stated that important financial information was kept from her which made it difficult to make informed decisions. Following the FIR, further investigation will likely take place.
