Homeware, accessories, and lifestyle brand WoodenStreet has established a manufacturing unit in Rajasthan measuring 10 lakh square feet. Located in Jodhpur, the facility is designed to boost both the business’ production capacity and revenue.
“It’s all your love and support that takes us to another milestone,” announced WoodenStreet on Facebook. “We’re proud to announce the launch of our new R&D and manufacturing unit in Jodhpur, spread across an area of 10 lakh square feet. This expansion is set to redefine new standards in furniture craftsmanship.”
The new facility will generate approximately 300 new employment opportunities in the are, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. With the increase in its manufacturing capabilities enabled by the Jodhpur facility, WoodenStreet expects to see its annual revenue increase to between Rs 500 crore and Rs 700 crore.
“Our new expansion in Jodhpur reflects our commitment to staying at the forefront of the furniture industry,” said the business’ CEO Lokendra Ranawat, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. “With these enhanced facilities, we aim to transform the furniture design and manufacturing process, ensuring our customers receive top-tier products.”
WoodenStreet launched in 2015 and today counts 97 brick-and-mortar stores across India. The business has a network of more than 350 delivery hubs across India and has served over one million customers.
