Victoria’s Secret opens first Mumbai beauty store in Malad’s Inorbit Mall

Victoria’s Secret has opened its first beauty store in Mumbai. Located in the city’s Inorbit Mall in Malad, the exclusive brand outlet retails the US-based brand’s personal care, sleepwear, and accessories lines. 

“We are excited to present the opening of Victoria’s Secret Beauty store at Inorbit Mall Malad, Mumbai,” announced Apparel Group India Private Limited on Linkedin. The store’s open façade is flanked by two large digital screens which show clips from recent brand campaigns and the interior of the store is painted in Victoria’s Secret’s signature blush pink hue. 
 
Victoria’s Secret retails in the Indian market with the Indian arm of Middle East based apparel retail giant Apparel Group. The brand first launched in India in 2021 with an e-commerce platform for its beauty, fragrance, and accessories lines. In 2022, Victoria’s Secret launched its first brick-and-mortar store in the country in Mumbai which housed its signature lingerie line. 

The third quarter of the 2024 financial year saw Victoria’s Secret open four new stores. Two of these were in Pune and the other locations were Hyderabad and Bengaluru. The brand was established in 1977 by brothers Roy and Gaye Raymond and today has a retail presence in 70 countries across the world.
