Business to customer shopping fair Sutraa will launch wedding themed shopping fairs in Chennai and Indore this January. The events are designed to bring together bridal wear brands from across the country and will focus on premium labels.
From January 23 to 24, Sutraa will set up shop at Chennai’s Hyatt Regency Hotel, the event organisers announced on Facebook. The shopping fair will feature product categories including bridal wear, occasion wear, traditional wear, fusion wear, jewellery, fashion accessories, gift items, and trousseau goods among others.
Ethnic wear brand Lime Soda by Soun and Aria will present its latest collection of sarees and lehengas at the event and Sfilletto Footwear will retail its latest formal footwear designs. Other participating brands will include occasion wear brand Pallavi and Piyush, ethnic wear brand Rakhi Collection, fusion wear brand Hand Block Prints, and fashion jewellery brand Xclusive Accessories among others.
The event will hen travel to Indore for an edition at the city’s Hotel Sayaji from January 27 to 28. The event will feature a similar product selection to its Chennai fair with numerous local brands in the mix.
Sutraa recently concluded its Hyderabad event which ran from January 19 to 21 at the metro’s Hotel Novotel. The event is designed to uplift desi designers and link shoppers with up and coming labels.
