Skechers launches new Gujarat store in Ahmedabad

Footwear brand Skechers has launched its 21st brick-and-mortar store in India in Ahmedabad. Located at the city’s Shyamal Crossing, the store is designed to help the brand connect offline with shoppers in Gujarat.

Skechers also recently launched its ‘Retroverse’ apparel collection in the Indian market, the brand announced on Facebook. The collection takes its inspiration from the 90s and features bold, graphic prints, cargo pockets, and separates for both men and women as a “throwback to the internet era,” according to the label.
 
Skechers retails in India through Skechers South Asia. The subsidiary of Skechers USA was founded in 1992 to bring the brand’s sneakers to new audiences.
 
Internationally, Skechers retails its designs for men, women, and children in approximately 180 countries. In India, the brand retails through its direct to customer e-commerce store, on multi-brand e-commerce platforms, and through its network of physical stores.
