Ethnic wear retailer Sai Silks Kalamandir Ltd (SSKL) has strengthened its retail presence in the south Indian region with the launch of a new store in Telangana.
The store located in Khammam will offer a diverse range of products including premium sarees, lehengas along with ethnic wear for men and children.
Telangana is an important growth market for Sai Silks contributing 45 percent to its total revenue in fiscal year 2023. With the addition of this store, the brand currently has 26 stores in the state.
Commenting on the store launch, Prasad Chalavadi, managing director of Sai Silks Kalamandir Ltd in a statement said, “We take immense pride in announcing the expansion of our retail footprint in the region. Through a meticulously planned retail expansion strategy, we are committed to delivering much needed growth by expanding our presence in ever growing ethnic wear market in Telangana.”
“In the fiscal year of 2023, we found that Telangana was the top earner for us, contributing a big 44.90 percent to our total revenue. Sai Silks Kalamandir currently runs 59 brick-and-mortar stores in states including Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh.
