Raymond Ready to Wear opens new store in Kanpur

Textile and apparel giant Raymond’s menswear brand Raymond Ready to Wear has opened an exclusive brand outlet in Kanpur to bolster its brick-and-mortar presence in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The new store is located inside the city’s Z Square Mall.

“The formal wear fashion game has upgraded- Raymond-Ready to Wear is now open on First Floor, Z Square Mall,” the mall announced on Facebook. The store has an open façade with Raymond’s brand logo illuminated in red. Inside the store, dark wood fixtures and off-white walls, floor, and ceiling make for a classic aesthetic. 
 
The store houses Raymond’s selection of formal, western style men’s suits with dress shirts and blazers in a wide variety of colours from turquoise to pale pink. The store also has a selection of smart casual wear for men including polo shirts and chinos, as well as accessories including belts and ties. 

The business’ parent company Raymond Limited reported an increase in consolidated net profit totalling Rs 1,067 crore in the quarter ended June 30 this year, compared to Rs 82 crore in the same quarter a year-ago. The business’ revenue for the quarter rose by 3% to Rs 1,771 crore, compared to Rs 1,728 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
