A Japan Airlines aircraft that was carrying passengers caught fire on a runway at Tokyo’s Haneda airport.
Video from Japan’s public broadcaster NHK shows flames coming out of the windows of an aircraft.
The country’s coast guard says it is looking into the possibility that one of its planes crashed into the Japan Airlines flight.
Around 400 people were on board the plane, according to NHK.
More video on social media shows the plane in flames travelling down the runway.
All runways at Haneda – Japan’s busiest airport – are currently closed.
