Nabhi Sutra has reached a milestone of serving five lakh customers, the brand announced in a press release. Now selling an average of 20,000 bottles of its Ayurvedic products each month, Nabhi Sutra expects to see significant revenue growth this year.

The business was launched with an initial investment of Rs 5 lakh and it generated Rs 1 crore revenue in its first year of operations. As well as targeting wider customer demographics, the business is also focusing on expanding its product selection.

Nabhi Sutra works closely with cow ghee and has launched ‘Shata Dhauta Ghrita’ as a product designed to use the ingredient’s natural benefits to cool and soothe the skin. The brand uses the traditional Bilona method of making ghee to enhance its natural properties.

“Harnessing the benefits of natural ingredients, it is all about simplifying your regime and taking an inside-out approach to skincare and wellness,” said Nabhi Sutra’s founder Swati Sutaria Vakhadia in a press release. “From ancient times, cow ghee has also been used for healing wounds because it has healing properties. When ghee is washed 100 times, it becomes pure and healthy. So it is called ‘Shatadhautghruta’, means ghee, which is washed and pure with properties that accentuate the benefits.”
