Mokobara opens second brick-and-mortar store in Bengaluru

Luggage, handbag, and accessories brand Mokobara has opened its second brick-and-mortar store in Bengaluru in the central shopping district of Indiranagar. The exclusive brand outlet is also the brand’s first ever high street store. 

“After the fantastic launch of our first store at Phoenix Marketcity in Bangalore, we are thrilled to be opening our first high street retail location in the heart of the city,” said Mokobara’s head of retail, Apoorv Sharma, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. “We are keen to see how the dynamics of walk-ins and conversions play out between the high streets and malls.”
 
Located at 12th Main Road, the high street store houses Mokobara’s full selection of tote bags, mini bags, suitcases, and other accessories. The store is designed to offer an experience to customers so they can see products in person and become immersed in the brand’s world. The store is also designed to educate shoppers on Mokobara’s design philosophy to build brand awareness. 

The brand is keen to swiftly expand its brick-and-mortar presence across India. “As of now we have five stores signed, the rest of which will soon be launching in the coming months,” said Sharma. “We are targeting a total of 20 stores in this financial year.”
