Manish Malhotra collaborates with Starbucks to launch drink-ware line

Couturier Manish Malhotra has collaborated with coffee business Starbucks to launch a limited edition collection of drink-ware. The collection features Malhotra’s signature gold ornamental designs and promotes using reusable cups.

“Steal the spotlight with the exclusive Manish Malhotra + Starbucks Limited Edition Collectible,” announced Starbucks India on Facebook on January 19. “Now available to order on the Starbucks India App, Starbucks.in, and select stores only.”
 
The collection includes stainless steel tumblers, reusable cups for hot beverages, and stoneware ceramic mugs. The collection’s floral design is inspired by traditional Kashmiri motifs, which have also featured in Malhotra’s womenswear collections.

 “I am delighted to join forces with Starbucks India to introduce the limited-edition collection,” said Malhotra about the collaboration, India Retailing reported. “Kashmir holds a special place in my heart, serving as both a personal connection and a cornerstone of my brand’s identity. In crafting a signature collection for my collaboration with Starbucks, I aimed to seamlessly integrate the beauty and craftsmanship of Kashmir into everyday moments.”
 
The collection has been designed exclusively for Starbucks Rewards members to promote the initiative. The collection is priced from Rs 850 to Rs 2,900 and each product includes a personalised note from the designer self.
