Jaipur-based Womenswear brand Jisora plans to expand offline and open franchise stores across India to reach new customers. The direct to customer business expects to close the 2024 financial year with a revenue total of Rs 60 crore.
“In a span of just three years, our brand has achieved an impressive estimated revenue of Rs 60 crore,” Jisora’s founders Kavya, Mehul, Tushar and Khushboo Sethi told India Retailing. “A remarkable repeat customer rate of 40% underscores the loyalty we inspire. What truly sets us apart is the harmonious blend of traditional and modern elements, bridging a gap that was previously absent in the market.”
The brand reported a revenue total of Rs 40 crore for the 2023 financial year and is thus expecting significant revenue growth this fiscal. The business first launched in 2020 and has mainly focused on leisurewear since its inception. One of the business’ unique selling points is that its designs range from sizes extra small to 6XL, according to its Facebook page.
As well as expanding its brick-and-mortar presence in India, Jisora plans to expand internationally to tap into the market of Indians and South Asians living abroad as well as shoppers from other cultures. The business will expand its product categories to both appeal to a wider customer demographic and to offer a comprehensive wardrobe solution. Although the brand currently retails womenswear, there are plans to add men’s and children’s lines in the near future.
Jisora retails from its direct to customer e-commerce store where around 80% of its sales originate. The brand also retails on numerous multi-brand online marketplaces including Amazon India, Myntra, and Nykaa.
