Womenswear brand Injiri will launch its spring/ summer 2024 clothing collection in Paris, France at the city’s ATS Gallery. The showcase will run from September 28 to October 5 and will connect the label with international distributors.
“Injiri is delighted to extend an invitation to the unveiling of our Spring Summer 2024 clothing line,” the brand announced on Facebook. By showcasing its collection in Paris, the brand will have the chance to connect with buyers from across Europe and further expand its international distribution.
The showcase is appointment only. From the previews shared on Injiri’s Facebook page, the collection will mix its signature handloom textiles with indigenous style, hand embroidered details. In February 2023, Injiri presented its autumn/ winter 2023 collection at the same location to an audience of media representatives and buyers.
Chinar Farooqui launched Injiri as a craft-driven womenswear brand which uses a range of heritage textile techniques. The label currently retails from over 100 multi-brand stores internationally as well as in a range of multi-brand luxury fashion boutiques in India, including Ensemble.
The brand works with artisans in India to create its understated clothing which is designed to put the highlight the textile craft itself and preserve its traditional practices. Injiri took part in the 2023 edition of the Xtant Fibra textile festival in Mallorca, Spain this May and presented a large, patchwork textile installation.
