A group of Indian fine jewellery businesses will travel to Brazil to take part in the South American country’s Buyer Seller Meet 2024 in Sao Paulo City. The trade event will showcase their designers to buyers from across the continent.
“I have noticed that Latin buyers are more selective about which show they attend, and consequently many companies end up not having the opportunity to meet this visitor profile in person, so we decided to do the opposite and bring world leaders to South America,” said the president of the global jewellery organisation ‘Mubri Association’ Ali Pastorini, the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council reported on its website.
The Indian businesses which are scheduled to take part in the Brazil Buyer Seller Meet are Kiran Gems, SRK, UniDesign, Hari Krishna Exports, Dharmanandan, Sheetal Group, ALTR, Dianco, J.B. and Brothers, Star Rays NY, K. Girdharlal, ACPL Exports, and Patdiam among others. By showcasing their wares in Brazil, Indian businesses aims to increase their exports and enter new international markets for growth.
More and more buyers from South America are purchasing jewellery from international brands, according to the GJEPC. Pastorini is currently engaging with jewellery industry stakeholders from countries including Peru, Chile, Bolivia, and Argentina to bring a diverse array of buyers to the event.
