Western and ethnic apparel brand House of W has partnered with the Government of India’s ‘One District One Product’ initiative. The brand aims to promote Indian textile manufacturing with its new women’s line ‘Barara Ethnic’.
“Join us in celebrating the rich tapestry of India’s culture, heritage, and craftsmanship with House of W,” announced the brand on Facebook. “Partnering with One District One Product (ODOP) and promoting the Indian textiles industry. ODOP prompts India’s textile industry to merge agriculture, culture, and traditions, producing diverse products for both local and global markets.”
Barara Ethnic offers Indian made kurta sets and other traditional wear staples for both occasion and everyday wear. The label retails on House of W’s e-commerce store.
House of W was previously named ‘Taggd’ and specialises in men’s and women’s apparel, according to its website. The brand retails from its direct to customer e-commerce store which also has a segment dedicated to homeware.
The business also announced the launch of its new Instagram shop at the end of March this year. “Exciting news,” wrote House of W on Facebook. “The wait is finally over!
