GJEPC showcases Indian jewellery at Jewellery & Gem Asia Hong Kong 2023

The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council brought 24 Indian exhibitors to the Jewellery & Gem Asia Hong Kong fair 2023. The participating jewellery businesses showcased their wares across 31 booths as the GJEPC showcased the country’s craftsmanship to international buyers.

“The India Pavilion at the Hong Kong show has once again reaffirmed our country’s position as a global hub for fine jewellery,” said GJEPC chairman Vipul Shah, the GJEPC reported on its website. “We are immensely proud of the talent and skill showcased by our exhibitors. The beautiful jewellery pieces on display are a testament to India’s mastery in the world of fine jewellery and the craftsmanship of our artisans.”
 
Participating brands showcased a range of studded gold jewellery, silver jewellery, loose diamonds, and coloured gemstones. The annual trade show acts as a hub for the Asian jewellery trade and the GJEPC aimed to highlight India as a jewellery destination with its themed pavilion. 

The Jewellery & Gem Asia Hong Kong 2023 ran from June 22 to 25 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Jewellery and Gem Asia reported. The trade show describes itself as the industry’s number one mid-year business-to-business sourcing event in Asia and, as well as bringing together buyers, manufacturers, and retailers, the event also featured a customised seminar programme. 
 
This edition, the trade show featured around 1,500 exhibitors from over 30 countries and regions. Featured product categories included diamonds, coloured gemstones, pearls, equipment, and technology among others.
