Fashion jewellery brand Gargi by P N Gadgil & Sons has opened company-operated shop-in-shops in three Shoppers Stop stores in Bengaluru to expand its retail presence in the metro. The launch brings Gargi by PNGS’ total number of Shoppers Stop shop-in-shops to nine.
“We’re truly delighted to enter the Bangalore market through these three shop-in-shop stores at Shoppers Stop locations,” said Gargi by PNGS’ co-founder Aditya Modak in a press release. “This is a major part of our strategic expansion as a pan-India brand and yet another step toward bringing our offerings even closer to the hearts of our customers.”
The new shop-in-shops retail Gargi by PNGS’ full ranges of jewellery made from brass and 92.5 sterling silver. The brand retails both everyday and occasion style designs with a modern and feminine aesthetic.
“We are focussing on rapidly expanding our retail network through various models, such as shop-in-shop outlets in collaboration with brands like Shoppers Stop, franchise-owned outlets, and company-owned exclusive stores,” said Modak. “In the coming times, we are all set to enter all major states and cities across India.”
The business made its initial public offering debut on the Bombay Stock Exchange at the end of 2022 and plans to become a Rs 100 crore company in the coming two years. Gargi by PNGS was launched to fill a gap in India’s largely unorganised fashion jewellery industry and the brand is focused on expanding across India.
