Deckers Brands announced on Monday the appointment fof Robin Green to the role of president of Hoka, effective immediately.
Green will serve on the U.S. firm’s executive leadership team, reporting directly to Dave Powers, chief executive officer and president of Deckers Brands.
In her new role, Green will lead the Hoka brand, with a focus on delivering continued growth, further expanding on consumer and athlete connection, and accelerating the product innovation pipeline across a global marketplace.
Prior to joining Hoka, Green held several leadership roles at Nike during her 17 years with the company, most recently serving as its global VP and GM of men’s running and fitness. Before Nike, Green was a manager and buyer at Fleet Feet for four years.
“Robin is a strong leader with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute on multi-year strategic, growth-driving initiatives for global performance businesses, and I am eager for her to leverage that expertise as part of Deckers,” said Powers, who is due to retire in August as announced by the firm earlier in the year.
“Hoka is in its strongest position to date, and I am confident in our ability to continue its positive momentum with Robin at the helm. Together, we will focus on continuing to expand consumer awareness of Hoka, maximizing and scaling our product offerings and accessibility, and eclipsing the exceptional revenue milestones hit over the last year.”
In its most recent trading update, parent company Deckers said net sales increased 16% to $1.56 billion during the three months ending December 31, with domestic net sales up 15.6% to $1.048 billion, and international sales up 16.7% to $511.9 million.
The Hoka brand saw sales surge 21.9% to $429.3 million for the quarter.
