CMAI to hold fourth ‘FAB’ show in Mumbai this April

The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India will hold its fourth ‘Fabrics, Accessories, and Beyond’ trade show in Mumbai from April 15 to 17. The event is designed to bring together manufacturers and buyers from across India to facilitate networking and business deals.

The trade show will take place at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, the CMAI announced on Facebook. Stall booking for vendors has opened for businesses engaged in producing textiles, accessories, and related materials and machinery. 
 
Sponsored by Fabexa, the trade show expects a total of over 12,000 trade visitors to attend, according to the CMAI. The event will take place over a two lakh square foot area and will host over 200 exhibitors from across the country. 

The CMAI recently held a roadshow to promote the upcoming event and its promotional event in Surat was attended by over 100 industry members, the trade body announced on Facebook. The event detailed the aims of the trade show and how it will include private labels, distributors, e-commerce businesses, overseas buyers, wholesalers, exporters, and retailers among other businesses. 
 
The CMAI works to promote and advocate for India’s clothing manufacturing industry. The organisation is based in Mumbai and also organises trade shows including the National Garment Fair and Bharat Tex among others.
