Beacon Bio Life Sciences, the parent firm of natural brands Atulya and Khadi Natural has invested Rs 30 crore ($3.8 million) to set up a large-scale plant in Manesar, Haryana.
With this new manufacturing plant, Beacon aims to double the current production capacity by using state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and fully automated processes.
The Manesar plans will be spread over an area of 1 lakh sq ft and expected to create around 400 new jobs in the region.
Commenting on the investment, Gaurav Singh, founded of Beacon Bio in a statement said, “Our manufacturing plant in Manesar will make us bigger and stronger, and enable us to cater to the growing demand for our flagship brands such as Atulya. Cutting-edge automation, robotics and production technologies are being adapted to make sure there is no compromise on the efficacy of our products.”
“While products of all brands under the umbrella, like Khadi Natural and Kosha, would be produced at the new plant, focus would be to boost the production of Atulya, a flagship brand that has witnessed significant upsurge in demand of late,” he added.
Beacon Bio Life Sciences Private Limited owns natural personal care brands that offer offer cruelty-free products across skin, hair, face and eye care segments.
