Bath & Body Works opens first Rajasthan store in Udaipur

US-based personal care and fragrance brand Bath & Body Works has opened its first brick-and-mortar store in the state of Rajasthan. Located in Udaipur’s Celebration Mall, the store launched with the brand’s new seasonal scented products ranging from body lotions to perfumes. 

“We are happy to announce the opening of Bath & Body Works newest store at Celebration Mall, Udaipur,” Apparel Group India Private Limited announced on Linkedin, sharing photos of the new store. “This is our first store in Rajasthan and the 37th store in India.”
 
This year, Bath & Body Works has opened a large number of stores in India. Last week, the brand opened its first exclusive brand outlet in Calicut (Kozhikode), which was its third in the state of Kerala. The store is located inside the city’s HiLite Mall. The brand has also recently opened stores in Pune’s Phoenix Mall of the Millennium and Kochi’s Forum Mall and opened stores in Mohali and Bengaluru over the summer. 

Bath & Body Works launched in Ohio in the US in 1990 and is known for its seasonal fragrance blends for both candles and perfumes. The brand first entered the Indian market in 2018 in partnership with fashion and lifestyle retail giant Apparel Group, which still operates its stores and leads its country-wide expansion.
