Bata India appoints Meeru Gupta as head of legal

Footwear major Bata India has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Meeru Gupta as head of legal.

In her new role, she will lead the legal team and provide strategic legal expertise to Bata India Ltd.

Commenting on the appointment, Gunjan Shah, managing director CEO at Bata India in a statement said, “Meeru’s appointment marks a significant step for Bata India, aligning with the company’s commitment to excellence. Gupta has over two decades of experience in navigating complex legal landscapes across India. Previously, she has worked with Varun Beverages and Philips India in senior roles.
