Most recently, Nicolas oversaw global jewelry and watch activities at Sotheby’s before becoming general manager of Printemps Haussmann in 2021. She has also held prominent positions at houses such as Cartier, where she led global retail and marketing operations, and Dior, where she founded the Fine Jewelry division and expanded its jewelry and watch offerings.

Nicolas is no stranger to Baccarat, having served as a board member since 2018. Her deep understanding of the luxury market, strategic vision, and proven ability to lead global teams make her uniquely positioned to guide Baccarat into its next chapter.

“I am honored to take on the role of CEO of Baccarat and to build on the remarkable foundation laid by Maggie,” said Nicolas. “Her leadership has set the stage for a bright and dynamic future, and I look forward to working closely with our talented teams to drive Baccarat to even greater heights.”

Henriquez joined Baccarat in 2022 following a 21-year tenure at LVMH, and is credited for steering the company through pivotal transformations, laying the foundation for the future.

“It has been an honor to lead the House of Baccarat and to contribute to its extraordinary legacy. I am proud to have contributed to strengthening the impact of Baccarat, preserving its heritage while projecting it into modernity,” said Henriquez.

“I am convinced that Laurence will bring renewed energy and vision to this iconic Maison, ensuring it continues to thrive and innovate. With joy and emotion, I pass the torch to her and wish her the very best as she takes on this exciting role.”
