Bollywood celebrity Hrithik Roshan’s clothing and lifestyle brand HRX has ambitious expansion plans for this year. After launching exclusive brand outlets in Bengaluru and Mumbai, the brand plans to open at least 10 more stores in large Indian cities.
“We will be opening stores in all key markets/cities in the country where the demand is growing or has grown in the last few years,” said HRX’s co-founder Afsar Zaidi, India Retailing reported. “We already have retail footprints in Bengaluru and Mumbai and moving forward we are looking at cities like Indore, Kochi, Lucknow, Pune, etc. We will add at least 10 more stores this year.”
HRX is marketed as a celebrity fitness brand and made the transition from online brand to omni-channel retailer in 2022. The brand is jointly owned by Hrithik Roshan and Exceed Entertainment and first launched on Flipkart’s online fashion arm Myntra in 2013.
HRX has also expanded its reach so far this year by signing an official fan merchandise partnership with four teams in the Indian Premier League. The brand also recently announced that it will open brick-and-mortar stores in partnership with nutrition centred food brand EatFit to offer a health café experience for fitness enthusiasts.
