Amethyst to host Payal Pratap for first time in Chennai

Multi-brand premium Indian fashion retailer Amethyst will host womenswear designer Payal Pratap in Chennai for the first time this week. The designer will launch a sale event at the boutique in Royapettah on August 22.

The exclusive sale and showcase will run until August 24, Amethyst announced in a press release. Payal Pratap also recently held an online exclusive sale on its e-commerce store from August 8 to 15, the brand announced on Facebook.
 
“Discover signature styles featuring a unique mix of handcrafted elegance and comfort over a wide range of tops, tunics, kurta sets, dresses, stoles and sarees on amazing discounts,” announced Amethyst in a press release. The event will feature clothing priced from Rs 3,500 onwards to give the city’s shoppers the chance to pick up affordable pieces from the premium label.
 
Payal Pratap showcased its latest collection on the runway at Lakmē Fashion Week x Fashion Design Council of India in spring. The collection was titled ‘The Soft Parade’ and celebrated traditional craft practices from the Kutch region, reimagined for the modern Indian woman. The fusion style collection features bandhani prints on silk and stitches derived from ancient kedias and mixes relaxed silhouettes with delicate, feminine details.
