Multi-brand fashion and lifestyle e-commerce platform Ajio has added 500 new brands to its selection and launched ethnic wear brand Ri-wah, which has launched with over 2,000 styles. The ‘Ajio All Stars Sale’ went live on September 22.
“All Stars Sale brings fashion’s biggest brands to customers giving them a truly enthralling shopping experience,” said Ajio’s CEO Vineeth Nair in a press release. “In this edition, we expect continued momentum of increasing orders from smaller towns and cities. With increasing internet penetration and introduction of 5G, more and more Indians are adopting online shopping and we expect over 10 lakh first-time shoppers to experience and shop from the 1.5 million plus styles on Ajio.”
Ajio timed the launch of its mid-premium brand Ri-wah to coincide with the sale for maximum exposure. Ri-wah’s selection of sarees and other women’s ethnic wear is designed with a modern twist to appeal to multiple customer demographics.
The sale is powered by Marks & Spencer in association with Lee and Wrangler and services over 19,000 Indian pin codes. Over 1.5 curated fashion styles are available from over 5,500 brands, according to Ajio.
Ajio has launched a campaign to advertise the sale starring Bollywood celebrities Shraddha Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor, Badshah, and Jim Sarbh to harness their pan-India appeal and garner maximum website visitors. The sale also features a number of promotional offers including the chance to win prizes such as an iPhone 14 Pro Max and Rs 1 lakh of gold for top shoppers.
