Agilitas Sports names Richard Zartman as footwear design vice president

Sportswear and athleisure solutions platform Agilitas Sports has named Richard Zartman as its new vice president for footwear design. Also appointed as part of the business’ founding team, Zartman will head up footwear design for Agilitas Sports’ portfolio of athletic sportswear brands.

His appointment marks a significant milestone for us, as we strengthen our commitment to revolutionise the sports landscape in India and beyond. With Richard on board, we are confident that his leadership will further enhance our ability to deliver cutting-edge footwear solutions and elevate Agilitas Sports to new heights of success.”
 
Zartman has over 20 years of experience in footwear design and specialises in running footwear. The executive has also worked for Brooks Sports and Adidas.

Agilitas Sports has secured Rs 100 crore in funding from Nexus Venture Partners to scale up its operations. The business has acquired Mochiko Shoes Private Limited which manufactures footwear in India for brands including Adidas, Puma, New Balance, Skechers, Reebok, Asics, Crocs, and Decathlon among others.
