Jaipur Rugs opens first store in Raipur

Luxury rug, carpet, and textile business Jaipur Rugs has launched its first brick-and-mortar store in Raipur to bring its global store total to 19 and follow on from its recent debut in Pune. 

“This 19th store embodies our mission to merge heritage with innovation, offering more than just rugs,” said Jaipur Rugs’ director Yogesh Chaudhary, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. “Each piece tells a story of artistry, tradition and the hands that crafted it. With every new location, we strengthen our commitment  to empowering artisans, preserving age-old techniques, and redefining luxury for a discerning audience worldwide.”

The store is the label’s first in the state of Chhattisgarh and responds to the area’s growing consumer demand for luxury goods. Jaipur Rugs’ recent expansion is part of its strategy to blend traditional craftsmanship with modern retail practices, The Home Fashion reported. 

The brand also recently collaborated with illustrator and watercolourist Tatiana de Nicolay to launch a line of rugs titled ‘Jardins du Monde.’ The line is inspired by the Albert Khan Parisian Garden, which invites the visitor to “take a lush and exotic plant walk,” Jaipur Rugs announced on Facebook. 

Jaipur Rugs counts stores across India and global outlets in Dubai, Italy, the UK, and Singapore. The business collaborates with a network of 40,000 rural artisans and manages more than 7,000 looms.
