Indian jewellery major Kalyan Jewellers has strengthened its retail presence in the western region with the launch of its new store in the state of Gujarat.
The store located on LP Savani Road in the city of Surat was inaugurated by Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor.
The brand considers Gujarat as an important growth market and expects this new store to increase its market share in the region.
Commenting on the launch, Ramesh Kalyanaraman, executive director of Kalyan Jewellers in a statement said, “We are thrilled to announce the launch of our first showroom in Surat. This strategic expansion aligns with our vision of creating a comprehensive ecosystem that elevates the customer’s shopping journey. Over the years, we’ve focused on expanding our presence across India, and we believe this new showroom will solidify our market share in Gujarat while offering unparalleled convenience and accessibility to our valued patrons.”
Kalyan Jewellers plans to strengthen its domestic presence by opening 130 outlets that will include 50 Candere stores through the franchise owned company operated model this financial year.
During the financial year 2024, the company opened 71 showrooms taking the total number of showrooms to 253 across India and the Middle East.
