Kewal Kiran Clothing Ltd Q2 net profit rises 36 percent to Rs 68 crore

Kewal Kiran Clothing Limited (KKCL), one of India’s leading lifestyle companies reported a 36 percent jump in net profit to Rs 68 crore ($8.1 million) for the quarter ended September 2024, as against Rs 50 crore in the year-ago quarter.

The company’s revenue for the quarter increased by 17 percent to Rs 308 crore, as against Rs 262 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.

During the July-September quarter, the company added 29 exclusive brand outlets which included opening of its 500th store and ended the quarter with a store count of 534.

Commenting on the results, Kewalchand P Jain, chairman managing director of KKCL in a statement said, “I am pleased to report resilient results for this quarter primarily driven by the successful execution of our consolidation strategy and strategic initiatives which has propelled our growth and expanded our market share.”

“Looking ahead, we believe the market should be supported by encouraging festival season consumption in light of which we continue to widen our national footprint and focus to expand our presence with brand led EBOs. Despite the inherent short-term challenges, we will continue to stay focused on pursuing profitable growth with our strong foundation and focused growth strategy,” he added.

KKCL owns brands like Killer, Integriti, Lawman, Easies, Kraus and Junior Killer. It retails through its exclusive brand outlets, multi-brand outlets, and e-commerce marketplaces.
