Korean skincare brand Innisfree has announced actress Wamiqa Gabbi as its first India brand ambassador. The appointment is designed to amplify Innisfree’s presence in the country and help the brand connect with new demographics.
“I’ve always been fascinated by Korean skincare, and Innisfree has been a beloved favourite of mine for years,” said Wamiqa Gabbi in a press release. “Being a vegan myself, joining hands with Innisfree feels like a natural extension of my personal ethos. Gabbi has acted in films in multiple languages, giving her diverse appeal across India, according to Innisfree. Her vegan values align with the label’s, which is confident that the partnership will elevate the brand amongst Indian youth.

Innisfree was founded in the year 2000 and is inspired by Jeju Island in Korea, known for its pristine scenery. The brand prioritises eco-friendly packaging and responsible production processes and its products include serums, sunscreens, face masks, and makeup products.
