De Beers Forevermark celebrates the festival of Gudi Padwa with five new designs for its diamond jewellery collection the ‘Forevermark Setting Collection’.
“As we get ready to welcome the auspicious occasion of Gudi Padwa, lets reflect on the very essence of this day,” announced De Beers Forevermark in a press release. “Known for symbolising new beginnings and prosperity, this festival is associated with the creation of the universe and the victory of good over evil. Just like the radiance of a diamond, this day shines with the promise of a bright future and growth. It’s a time to cherish the blessings of abundance and wealth that the new year brings in.”
The collection features designs such as the ‘Forevermark Setting Solitaire Pendant’ and ‘Forevermark Setting Tennis Bracelet’ among others. Shoppers can browse the line at select De Beers Forevermark sales points in Maharashtra and online.
Gudi Padwa begins on the night of April 8 and continues into April 9. The festival marks the Hindu New Year in Maharashtra and is also celebrated with other names across the country such as ‘Ugadi’ in Andhra Pradesh and ‘Yugadi’ in Karnataka, according to Rudraksha Ratna. As a festival of new beginnings, Gudi Padwa is seen as a time to buy jewellery by some.
De Beers Forevermark is a diamond jewellery brand by the De Beers Group which has a history dating back over 130 years, according to its website. Each Forevermark diamond has an inscription which, invisible to the naked eye, is added to show authenticity.
