The GJEPC travelled to Oman to both garner interest for its upcoming trade show and find out which trends local businesses are following to enable Indian manufacturers to cater to their needs, the GJEPC announced on its website. The GJEPC’s delegation met with a group of 27 fine jewellery businesses in Oman including Sea Pearl, Cochin, 4C’s, Al-Qurum, MRY, Modern Jewellery, Al Romaizan, Shahid Jewellery, Abdullah & Sons, Maryum Jewellery, and Lea Jewellery among others.

The campaign will boost international visitor registrations at IIJS Signature, according to the GJEPC, and the organisation expects to see robust Middle East participation at the event. The GJEPC also promoted the trade show in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia with a door-to-door campaign.

The upcoming edition of IIJS Signature will take place across two venues in Mumbai in 2024. From January 4 to 7, the event will run at the Jio World Convention Centre and it will take place at the Bombay Exhibition Centre from January 5 to 8.

IIJS Signature will showcase product categories including gold, diamond, and precious gemstone jewellery as well as machinery, technology, and related services. The event is designed to bring together international retailers and Indian manufacturers to boost Indian gem and jewellery exports.
