Cosmetics brand Recode Studios has opened its second brick-and-mortar store in Ludhiana at the city’s Jawahar Camp. The 250 square foot store retails Recode Studios’ selection of makeup, skincare, hair care, and body care goods.
The store opened its doors to the public on Monday with a vibrant floral display outside and red-carpet style walkway, the brand announced on Facebook. The store has a bright, white interior with gold and black shelves to display its selection of affordably priced beauty products.
“This latest expansion stands as evidence towards our commitment to make premium makeup accessible to all,” said Recode Studios’ co-founder Dheeraj Bansal, India Retailing reported.
The store is Recode Studios’ 13th to date in India and the business has been expanding swiftly since its appearance on entrepreneurial reality television series Shark Tank India. The brand aims to reach a brick-and-mortar store total of 25 by the end of the 2024 financial year. Upcoming locations where Recode Studios plans to open stores include Jaipur, Indore, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Rudrapur.
Dheeraj Bansal and Rahul Sachdeva launched Recode Studios in 2018 in Ludhiana. The business reported a sales total of Rs 25 lakh in its first year of business which increased to Rs 2 crore in the 2020 financial year and later Rs 26 crore in the 2023 financial year.
