Vvani by Vani Vats to debut at Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI with ‘Piroi’ collection

Designer label Vvani by Vani Vats will make its debut at the Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI with the showcase of ‘Piroi’ collection on October 14.

The bridal collection Piroi will feature lehengas, 70s inspired kurta sets & draped sarees made with fabrics such as georgette, silk organza, net, and crepe.

Piroi, which is known as a traditional technique of stringing beads together will also feature a unique jewellery technique for embellishing the outfits.

Commenting on the collection, designer Vani Vats in a statement said, “I am thrilled to have Vvani by Vani Vats make its debut at Lakme Fashion Week x FDCI this season. The collection, Piroi, is very close to my heart and symbolises the power, need and beauty of companionship.”

“It draws inspiration from the contemporary bride and her commitment to the institution of marriage. With timeless and versatile pieces celebrating the spirit of weddings, we are looking forward to unveil Piroi on the runway,” she added.

The upcoming edition of the Lakme Fashion Week organised by Lakmé, FDCI, and Reliance Brands Ltd will be held from October 11 to 15 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
