Swiss lifestyle brand Victorinox has opened a new shop-in-shop inside Gute Reise on the first floor of the recently opened Forum Mall in Kochi’s Maradu district. The launch adds to Victorinox’ brick-and-mortar presence in Kerala and the brand plans to open 10 more multi-product category stores by the end of the year.
“With the Victorinox Shop-in-shop concept we are bringing an extremely popular, brand into the heart of Kochi,” saidVictorinox India’s managing director Colonel Chandhoke in a press release. “We are excited and look forward to offering our customers a unique Swiss experience from Victorinox at this prime location. We currently have 16 stores that house Victorinox shop-in-shops with three or more product categories. We plan to further strengthen our India presence with 10 more stores in the multi-product category by the end of the year.”
The new Victorinox shop-in-shop retails travel gear and accessories, watches, and kitchenware as well as the brand’s signature ‘Victorinox Swiss Army Knives’. The mall’s Gute Reise store also stocks Victorinox’s sister brand Wenger, which retails travel gear at a lower price point.
Victorinox’s upcoming stores will retail Swiss Army Knives, cutlery, travel gear, and watches, according to the brand. Victorinox focuses on malls and high streets for its multi-product retail expansion and airports for its stores focusing on travel gear and watches.
