On May 17, Vāsa Indica opened its doors to the public as a multi-brand boutique at Regency One near New Delhi’s Dhan Mill. The 5,000 square foot store houses a curated selection of over 60 up and coming Indian fashion labels.
Founded by Rishi Sakhuja, Devika Sakhuja, and Yuvraj Singh Shergill, the store aims to support Indian brands and help shoppers discover new labels, Vāsa Indica announced in a press release. The store’s interior is designed to enable each brand within to showcase its vision with the aim of inspiring shoppers.
“We seek to revolutionise Indian fashion, curating selections that reflect contemporary trends,” said co-founder Rishi Sakhuja in a press release. “Empowering modern buyers to express individuality with confidence, it envisions a future synonymous with accessible and diverse fashion and lifestyle.”
Brands which feature in the store include Ka-Sha from Pune, Divya Sheth from Kolkata, Mimamsa from Lucknow, Tilla from Ahmedabad, Ekadi from Bihar, Naushad Ali from Pondicherry, Art Chives from Mumbai, and Ode-to-Odd from Ranchi. Along with retail, the store will host events and previews as well as offer personalised styling assistance.
Clothing in the store is priced from Rs 10,000 to Rs 75,000 to offer accessible luxury to Delhi’s shoppers. The store aims to offer a, “curated take on contemporary fashion that celebrates the best of India’s evolving identity,” according to the boutique.
