Van Heusen partners with Hungama’s Heftyverse to add 3D technology to online shopping

Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited’s menswear brand Van Heusen has partnered with digital entertainment business Hungama’s Heftyverse to harness 3D technology to engage online shoppers and boost e-commerce sales.

“We are pleased to collaborate with Hungama’s Heftyverse, a partnership that further strengthens our brand’s commitment to innovation,” said Van Heusen’s chief operating officer Abhay Bahugune, India Retailing reported. “With this initiative, we aim to elevate the intersection of fashion and digital entertainment, creating a synergy that resonates with the dynamic lifestyles of our discerning new-age consumers.”
 
Now available on browsers on laptops and mobile devices, Heftyverse is designed to encourage platform adoption. Users can avail the ‘Heftyverse Avatar Customization’ feature to create a personalised avatar which they can dress in Van Heusen clothing. 

“Teaming up with ABFRL for this exciting initiative marks a significant milestone for Heftyverse and Hungama Digital Entertainment,” said Hungama Digital Media’ founder Neeraj Roy. “This collaborative effort propels us into the immersive world of the metaverse, where digital fashion and captivating experiences seamlessly merge.”

Users of the Heftyverse can share their avatar’s Van Heusen looks on social media and buy the look in real life for themselves. Heftyverse has been created as a metaverse initiative by Hefty Entertainment Inc.
