Fast fashion brand Uniqlo will open a 14,000 square foot store in the upcoming Pacific Mall in Faridabad. The store will bolster the Japanese brand’s brick-and-mortar presence in Delhi NCR.
Uniqlo has leased the space in the mall and plans to open a store when the mall opens its doors to the public, India Retailing reported. Other brands which have leased space in the mall include Nykaa, Trends, and Fashion Hub among others and the mall will measure 3.8 lakh square feet.
Uniqlo is run by Fast Retailing Company Limited and is based in Yamaguchi, Japan. The brand has a modern, casual aesthetic and caters to men, women, and children. Based in Tokyo, Japan, Fast Retailing Group also runs brands including Gu, Comptoir des Cotonniers, and Theory among others.
In July, real estate business Pacific Group announced that it will open the new mall in Faridabad, Haryana. The upcoming mall is designed to bring a swathe of fashion and lifestyle brands to the area and will be located in Faridabad’s New Industrial Township.
Pacific Group runs the Pacific Mall chain which comprises six malls located across North India in areas including Dehradun and Sahidabad. This year, the business is working on launching three new malls in India this year and also recently opened Pacific Premium Outlets as a discount mall in New Delhi’s Jasola district.
