Uniqlo expands retail presence with its largest store in Mumbai

Global apparel retailer Uniqlo has expanded its retail presence with the opening of its third and largest store in the city of Mumbai.

The store located at the Phoenix Palladium Mall was inaugurated by Bollywood actor and Uniqlo’s India brand ambassador, Kareena Kapoor Khan.

The store spread across two floors will house the brand’s entire range of Lifewear along with the entire range of fall/winter 2024 products for men, women, kids, and babies.

Commenting on the new store opening, Kenji Inoue, chief operating officer at Uniqlo India in a statement said, “This is a very exciting time in Uniqlo’s journey in India. Since opening our first store in Mumbai last year, we have received an incredibly warm welcome from Mumbaikars, and our newest store in this brand-new area reflects our commitment to bringing high-quality, versatile, and affordable apparel to even more customers across the city.”

Kareena Kapoor Khan added, “I am thrilled to be a part of the opening of Uniqlo’s newest and largest store in Mumbai. Uniqlo clothing is such great quality, made with Japanese attention to detail and classic styles that are a perfect part of any outfit.”

Uniqlo currently has 14 brick-and-mortar stores in India and plans to open its 15th store in New Delhi on November 29 at Pacific Mall Tagore Garden.
