Tumi celebrates Diwali with bespoke artwork and curated gifting selection for Indian market

Luxury travel brand Tumi has launched bespoke artwork for the Indian market to celebrate the festival of Diwali. The global brand has also launched a curated accessories collection designed for festive gifting.

“This Diwali, international travel, lifestyle, and performance luxury brand Tumi invites you on a mystical journey that celebrates tradition, art, and design,” announced the brand in a press release on October 11. “Tumi extends a warm invitation to experience the magic of heritage and innovation, and to commemorate the Festival of Lights with a work of art that mirrors Indian culture. Drawing inspiration from the mesmerising tapestry of Indian art forms, including intricate block printing, mandalas, and other traditional motifs like the peacock, lotus, lanterns, fireworks and sun rays, the special holiday design seamlessly weaves together the old and the new.”
 
Along with the traditional-meets-modern artwork, Tumi has curated a range of luggage and travel accessories which have each been selected in colours and shapes designed to work well as festive gifts. These include pieces from its lightweight 19 Degree polycarbonate collection and its Georgica collection of women’s bags. The curated gifting selection shows Tumi’s commitment to the Indian market by recognising one of its most important holidays. 

Tumi was launched by Charlie Clifford in the US in 1975. The brand specialises in travel and lifestyle goods and retails in India through its stores in cities including Mumbai, Gurugram, Kolkata, New Delhi, and Bengaluru among others.
