Heritage inspired jewellery brand Tribe Amrapali has bolstered its brick-and-mortar retail footprint and launched stores in Lucknow and Chennai to bring its pan-India store total to 29.
“We are thrilled to expand our presence in Lucknow and Chennai,” said Tribe Amrapali’s CEO Akanksha Arora, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. “The city of Lucknow, our 28th store, deeply resonated with our brand’s values of tradition and artistry. The new store at Le Press is a tribute to the craftsmanship and cultural richness that Tribe Amrapali represents.”
The new Lucknow store is located in Le Press, a shopping centre at Hazratganj which is housed in a former printing press. Tribe Amrapali joins labels including Mulmul, Kilol, Garima Agarwal, Bagh, Skyy Living, and Naso among others in the shopping destination, according to Le Press’ website.
“Coming to our 29th store at Chennai Airport is not just a celebration of our journey but also a tribute to the timeless artistry of Indian jewellery,” said Arora. “We are thrilled to bring our creations to a space that connects people from around the world and to offer them a chance to take home a piece of India’s heritage.”
By opening a store in Chennai’s airport, the brand aims to tap into its high levels of footfall and international clientele. Tribe Amrapali announced its plans to open a store in Srinagar Airport in late 2024 and the label also counts stores in airports in Pune, Mumbai, Goa, and Hyderabad.
Along with its offline stores, Tribe Amrapali also retails from its direct to customer e-commerce store. The business was incorporated as Tba Jewels Private Limited in 2015, according to business analytics platform Tracxn.
